Welcome to Queer Parents and Guardians Support! In 2024 a small group of queer and trans parents from many walks of life, who have spent the last few years finding support and community with each other, got to talking. What do being queer and bringing up little humans have in common? They’re both lifelong journeys that are all at once beautiful, wonderful, chaotic, fulfilling, scary, and HARD! And if you’re going to survive and thrive walking these lifelong paths, you need community to do it. That’s when we realized, particularly in these times, we couldn’t be the only ones looking for what we’ve been trying to build. So we’re starting a group! QPGS is a peer-based support group for all parents, guardians, and caregivers who identify as LGBTQ+ in need of a little community care. Join us via zoom on the second Wednesday of every month from 7:30-9pm!
